Dec. 27 to 30. St Augustine, MM 780, to Titusville, MM 878

This post contains pictures from Oyster Cove Marina (in process of changing its name to Rivers Edge Marina) on the San Sebastian R. in St Augustine through Daytona Beach and to the anchorage outside the entrance to Titusville Municipal Marina. With 24 photos, this post is much smaller than previous ones.

MM 778. Rivers Edge Marina. Osprey two boats over.

Rivers Edge Marina. Saw this "modified" Catalina and thought of my good friend Lorraine F.

Hey Lorraine wanna modify CINNAMON BAY?

Board Room at Rivers Edge Marina. Business is conducted on site--day and night.

I'm not saying those boys drink a lot, but a cup holder in the head...

Rivers Edge Marina, Hurricanes Pattys. Wonderful local bar/rest. Fri nights they roll in a Paino. Spent Dec 24 and 26 with Hurricane Patty.

Entrance to HP- see the boat on the roof.

Another sign of our enconomy. These three photos are of the Luhurs and Mainship boat building factory on the San Sebastian R. in St Augustine. In early 2008, with 400 employees, they were the largest employer in St Augustine. By summer of 2009 they were out of business.

Doors closed.

Sad picture.

MM 829. Docked at Loggerhead Club Marina in Daytona Beach. LOON is on a T head and this riverboat began slowing down and truning toward the marina. Well it is always good to have your lines secure and fenders in place. The prop wash, as he docked on the next T head, rocked LOON.

Daytona Beach.

MM 842. Ponce de Leon inlet LH, 159' and 22M.

Waves breaking at Ponce de Leon inlet.

MM 846. New Smyrna Beach.

MM 850. Better watch my speed.

MM 855. Osprey eating with a gull standing by.

MM 876. Titusville. FINALLY a day with sun and temp low 60s. This is Marc and his son from Quebec--visiting for the holidays.

Titusville. Thought, what the heck, if father and son were dressing for cocktail hr. I'd wear my hat too.

LAST warm day for a while.

Next update from Vero Beach, MM 952.
